Viewing a Student’s Details

To view the details of a student, click on the student name and this will open a screen with all the student's details. Student information is shown in 3 sections:
  • Student Details
  • Contact Information
  • Student Comments

Updating a Student

To update any information for the student, click the student name to show all the student's details. Once you are in the view of the student details, update any information and click the ‘Save’ button.

You can add, update and delete any of the groups that are associated with the student:

Adding a New Group
  • Click on the ‘Add to a Group’ button and enter the student’s new group, instrument, tutor and status
  • Click ‘the Add’ button this will add the student into the active system with the new group details.
Deleting a Group
  • Click on the line of the group you would like to remove.
  • Click the ‘x’ at the end of the line and confirm you want to delete the group from the student.
Updating a Group
If you need to update a group, click on the drop-down lists for any of the fields in the group and then click the Save button.

Ensemble Student Status
Student status types can be customised and setup in the ‘Settings’  - ‘Selector Options’ section of the system.

These statuses are associated with a student's ensemble so they could be Active in an ensemble or any other status you have chosen; for example if a student is going for an audition, then you can change the status to ‘Audition’ for that particular ensemble they are auditioning in and once they have completed the audition, you can update their group if they have moved and change their status back to Active. 


Adding a New Student

To add a new student to the MSM system, follow the following steps:
    Click on the ‘Add student’ button.
    Enter the student’s details including their group information.
    Enter the main parent’s email address. If the parent already has a student on the system, it will automatically link the new student to the parent on the system. If there is no parent on the system with those contact details, you will then be able to enter the parent’s contact details for the student.

Deleting and Restoring a Student

To delete a student from the system, you can click on the ‘Delete’ button on the student details screen.

This puts the student into the ‘Student Archive’. You can restore the student at any time if you need to from the Student Archive section by finding the student and clicking the 'Restore' button on the student details.
